A SPECIAL REQUEST
Escuela de Amor, IMA has asked for 12 computers and a printer
A school in Guatemala has asked us for twelve computers and a printer for their students. This is a special request, separate from our regular program, and we are raising the full cost of filling it — $200 a computer, $400 for the printer.

Preparation, support, and reuse are part of the same cycle.
1. Donate
An unused working computer starts its next chapter.
2. Prepare
We securely wipe, inspect, and set up each device.
3. Lend and support
A student receives a computer on loan, with technical help whenever possible.
4. Return and reuse
The computer returns when the loan ends, ready to be serviced for another person.
Loans generally run for about six months and may be extended depending on availability and continuing need.
What changes when a computer arrives
Things students have told us since receiving theirs.
Schoolwork happens at home
Assignments that used to depend on finding a free machine somewhere else now get done at home.
No more staying late at work
Students who work no longer have to stay behind after a shift to finish homework on an office computer.
No travelling after dark
Students have described avoiding trips after dark to reach a computer they can use.
